THE SHORT VERSION
Good instincts. Interesting conclusions.
An animated mystery comedy set in 1990s Fort Vale, Indiana. Planned as thirteen 22-minute episodes; currently in development.

He notices the right thing.
Wong notices a real detail. A name, song, label, or half-remembered fact can convince him he knows what it means. Then he acts, and his private misunderstanding becomes everybody else’s afternoon.
Chief Hootie has procedures for this sort of thing. The Tribune has room for another headline. The rest of Fort Vale has to live with the results.
He wants answers, recognition, and somewhere to belong. He can care deeply about someone and still fail to hear what that person is asking him to do. His friends have reasons to let him try—and bills that explain why they hesitate.
A town that remembers.
Wei has a business to run. JJ knows the old stories. Larry has equipment, and Hootie has a complaint. Their own needs turn Wong’s investigation into something far less manageable than the case he thought he accepted.
Old relationships, local businesses, and yesterday’s mistakes keep connecting the cases.
